Forever Halloween is so sad, yet so brilliant. Like, the lyrics are all coming from the heart. It’s all real, even the editing and recording process. Just five Arizonian dudes playin music together who slapped it all on a tape. When I heard the previews earlier today, I was stunned. How far they’ve come is what really surprised me. I’m very very proud of the boys and I believe that they deserve all the support they receive. But again with the songs: The lyrics are all so… substantive! It’s amazing. Unlike their previous albums, these songs and lyrics are no longer in any teenager/adult’s point of view, but more so of the band’s and mostly Johns. These lyrics literally speak what John thinks through a way of musical stylings. It’s all great. Needless to say, I cannot wait for June 4th; Forever Halloween.
